This was work was taken alongside full-time retail work in the Salisbury location from 2022-2024.
SOCIAL MEDIA IMAGES
During my time at Cool! Merch, I initially volunteered my graphic design and social media experience to help develop the company's online presence.
After time, I was able to properly demonstrate my skills and create original, stylistic posts for their social media channels that have continued on, even after my departure.
The main channel for these social media images and subsequent sale conversion(s) was via Instagram. Below you can see various selected works I created for the Instagram, both in Post and Story formats.
PRINT MEDIA
As well as creating preorder promotional posters for each trading card/popular vinyl release, I also got to create some permanent POS graphics.
A surreal moment for me was having a maxi poster of my design printed to show off the maxi poster and frame deal. Seeing my work printed at such scale was an incredible feeling!

LOUNGEFLY CLUB LAUNCH
Another pivotal moment within my time at Cool! Merch was the launching of the Loungefly Club - a loyalty club aimed at an identified loyal customer base.
Beginning from an idea, I created various visual elements to be repeatable throughout print media, social media posts and newsletters.
I decided to focus on the grungy, counter-culture imagery from the roots of Cool! Merch - creating halftone patterns and textured backgrounds in the iconic brand colours.
HALLOWEEN 2024
For Halloween 2024, the social media and website underwent a themed rebrand, complete with seasonal banner and product collection and icon. Covered in spiderwebs, I really enjoyed creating this simple, yet effective, makeover of the brand for the season.
CHRISTMAS 2023
This work was done for their Christmas 2023 social media and website identity. All assets used within, except for the original Cool! Merch logo design, were created by me.
